On March 20, the leadership of the Defense Ministry visited servicemen undergoing treatment at the Main Clinical Hospital.

First, the leadership of the Ministry laid flowers at the monument to National Leader Heydar Aliyev and paid tribute to his cherished memory. The memory of National Leader Heydar Aliyev and the martyrs was honored with a minute of silence.

Minister of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov met with a group of servicemen undergoing treatment in the hospital, inquired about their health, and wished them a speedy recovery and a quick return to service. Festive gifts were presented to the servicemen.

Then, the Minister met with the medical staff, congratulated them on the holiday, and instructed them to provide higher-quality medical services to the servicemen undergoing treatment and examination.

Colonel General Zakir Hasanov conveyed the congratulations of President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Ilham Aliyev on the occasion of Novruz.

The staff of the Main Clinical Hospital and the servicemen undergoing treatment expressed their deep gratitude to Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev, First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva, and the leadership of the Ministry of Defense for the favorable conditions, as well as for their attention and care.

Then, Acting Chief of the Medical Department of the Ministry of Defense, Medical Service Colonel Anar Ismayilov presented a briefing on the successful reforms carried out in military medicine, innovations applied to enhance medical care for servicemen and their family members, and new practical approaches to treatment.

The Minister of Defense was informed that all necessary conditions have been created for the examination and treatment of servicemen in the Main Clinical Hospital and that the medical staff is working with high professionalism and dedication.

Finally, the Minister of Defense inspected the medical service's special vehicles, which are equipped with modern technology and designed for ambulatory services.
